What is the stock front sway bar diameter on a 2004 SRT 4?

    Re: Sway bar

    2003-2005 SRT-4 Sway Bars:
    24mm Front / 17mm Rear

    01-04 R/T and 01-02 ACR:
    22mm front / 19mm rear

    Neon ACR Sway Bars:
    24mm Front / 19mm Rear

    Mopar Swaybars:
    26mm Front / 19mm Rear
    * Heavier than stock, and Hotchkis
    * A tad on the expensive side
*The rears are, however, 3 way adjustable.

    PTGT/ACR a.k.a "WELFARE" Sways:
    26mm Front / 19mm Rear
*Seem to be the best bang for the buck. I've come to understand that the PT/ACR setup is the same as the WELFARE setup. Utilizes a PT Cruiser front swaybar and an ACR rear swaybar.
*Part numbers are as follows: Front-5085656AA / Rear- 4656855AA
*Most people seem to agree that ordering these from Mopar Super Center (a supporting vendor) is cheap and easy, and you can also get them from Speed and Power Development

    Hotchkis Sways:
    29mm Front / 24mm Rear
*According to people's posts/opinions...they seem to reduce more understeer and are hollow and therefore lighter than its competitors.
*The rear is also 2 way adjustable
*They also come w/endlinks and bushings.
    * Seen the following vendors offering these: i61motorsports, titan motorsports (see this post SRT Forums - SRT4, SRT6, SRT8, SRT10 & Dodge Forum - View Single Post - Welfare sways vs. Hotchkis sways ) and JSC speed.

    Progress Sways:
*27mm solid front and 24mm solid adjustable rear and/or 22mm rear
    *3 way adjustable rear. (24mm)
*Come with bushings and hardware (heim joints for the rear).
*Seem to be a little heavier.

    Perrin Rear Sway Bar:
    22mm
*comes with bushings, but not endlinks
    *not adjustable.

You should also invest in bushings:

    Mopar SS Bushings:
For 26mm Front: Part No. 5272646AA
For 19mm Rear: Part No. 4656946AA
