    L-body Battery passenger side

Anybody have their battery mounted on the passenger side inner fender?
If you do, please post pics of your setup.
    Thanks!

If you planning to drag it, NHRA rule says you need an external cut-off switch if the battery isn't mounted in stock position.

They usually don't bother you as long as the battery is still mounted in the engine compartment. It's also assuming that the tech guy knows where the battery was originally located on an Omni. They will definitely require the cutoff if it is relocated to the rear of the vehicle.

    Thanks for the responses all!

Not great pictures, but you kinda get the idea:

These were taken during the initial assembly phase nearly ten years ago. That fan and ignition coil are long gone now. The positive jumpstart terminal is off an Intrepid if I remember correctly.

Are you relocating it due to shifting the weight to the other side or just freeing up space? I was tight for space and got a Braille battery. About half the size and weight of stock.

For space mostly. My intercooler is going to sit in the original battery location.
