may not be the right place but I'll give it a shot. If i have a stage II cal and only set the boost to like 12 psi will the timing be enough to utilize all I can get out of 12 psi or is the timing curve setup for a higher boost number?

Which Stage II? Mine? Or Mopar, or FWD?

It is a bit off topic, though...

Re: Who here wants to get started tuning the stock ECU?

Made many updates to the wiki today.

There's still a few things to write, especially finishing up the base cal setup, and getting the Turbonator features setup written.

Does anyone have any feedback so far?

Everything I see so far is great, exactly what I've been wanting for a few years now. I've messed around with d-cal on some previous tunes but could never quite get a good handle on mptune and have been waiting for something like this before I dive back in. Now that I'm able to read through this and get a handle on everything, I'll be picking back up with the tuning very soon.

FWIW, I found a better template for the wiki. It will allow you to navigate and see all the pages without logging in. Though, you do still need to log in to contribute.

There's also now an option to export the current wiki page to PDF; or view a printable version, if you just want to go straight to paper.

Still trying to figure out how to fix the logo...

Re: Who here wants to get started tuning the stock ECU?

Testing a new template for the wiki. This one is supposed to be 'responsive' - meaning it changes the format appropriately for mobile devices (phones and tablets). The previous template looked good on a PC, but was all whacked on my HTC One. This new template is very simple, not exactly the 'stock' wiki format. Overall I like it. Need to figure out how to add the .pdf export links back in and change the green link color to blue (green!? really?).

So, please try it out on your PC's, tablets, and phones and let me know if you have any feedback.

---, I saw in another thread that you also built a det can. I added the det can setup to the wiki. My idea was to present a couple ways to do it.

Can you make a writeup about yours? And how you use it?

Just wondering if anyone is using a surface pro or pro2 to use with mp scan? The problem I have is I only have a big 17inch laptop and my local track will not let me use it while racing

I use an Asus convertible. Its like a smaller, cheaper Surface. It works well.

Re: Who here wants to get started tuning the stock ECU?

This is the part I dont know about:
    • In many cases it may be possible to use the 12v power for the original sensor heater to power the WB controller. So, the 12v power and power ground wires may be re-used. The ECU controls the power on this line. Please consult with your WB controllers documentation to be sure if this setup will work.

What is the maximum amperage the computer can handle to the WB gauge? The instructions for mine, aem uego, says the circuit requires a 10A fuse.

I don't know. The O2 Sensor heater is powered by the same circuit as the ASD; and so the fuel pump, coil, injectors are all on that circuit. If the AEM really needs 10a, it might be too much.

I originally powered my LC-1 this way, but it didn't like being switched off after the fuel pump prime. So, I gave it it's own circuit and relay, switched to the dash.

There is a newer controller from 14point7 - the Spartan WB - that maybe can handle it. I have one and plan to test it this season.

    - - - Updated - - -

Added a section to the wiki on setting up a Det Can. I know it's well documented here, but I wanted to keep it someplace it wouldn't get lost. Anyone else feel free to post your Det Can recipes on the wiki. I used the Radio Shack mic amplifier, but I'm sure there are other ways to do it.
