Sorry I was referring to spacing between paragraphs...Folks suffering from ADD (like me) can't read very well .

I see you mentioned my GTP in your ad, thanks !

Anyway, unfortunately I'll be watching it closely and not bidding freely.

True, values are stupid crazy right now. Funny thing is, I sold a 68 Road Runner needing everything to a nice gent. He mentioned that he couldn't wait to get to work on the Mopar and would as soon as he got the "dumb old Porsche" out of his garage! Of course, I asked what it was. Two owner, 1968 in an incredibly rare Blood Orange factory color. Sent my guys out there the next day to pay his price and get it home. He also filled my truck bed with tons of old Porsche "junk". You never know where you'll find the next good deal!

I agree, I would try to contact ebay and have them fix the auction description! They are making it harder for potential buyers to find your auction.

Pre-996 911's have peaked out, no? Time to sell, buy back in when prices return to sanity.

Most don't think they've peaked for early original cars-a 65 went for 500k a few weeks ago. Even a nice hot rod 912/911 conversion sold for 100K. Apparently my 67 is only one of 212 with a factory sunroof-doesn't matter as I'll never sell it.

They can't stop talking about its looks.
I was expecting that to be bad but this one made me laugh:
Consulier later became Mosler. No connection to the safe company, although they may have shared a styling department.

A lot of people still don't know about what air cooled porsche values have been doing so they would be perfect people to take proper capitalist advantage of. Or they know but it's small potatoes to them and they don't care. Either situation is a form of luxury i'm not availed of. I'm a little sad that i didn't get to drive one until they were already skyrocketing because now i want one but can't realistically justify one over all the other cool cars that aren't currently so inflated.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

There are some funny comments to be sure. I just don't see it. Sure, its not the greatest example of automotive styling, but its hardly as bad as some claim. I think a bit of the lemming effect has taken place-you know, you are supposed to thinks its ugly because others have said so for so long. I guess the fact that it was built to a purpose and that the styling was functional not flamboyant has ruffled feathers over the years. Of course, I had to post a lengthy comment on BAT in its defense.
Next time you are in socal, we can take a ride in my hot rod 67 911

That's pretty much how I feel about how it looks. Someone somewhere said it's ugly so everyone says its ugly. The sheep can't think for themselves.

I'm certain if this GTP were Pink and Teal, there'd be NO WAY he would part with it (or paint it)

    Here's mine.

The values are nice, but this one to me is priceless. It's a one owner, well 1 owner after thieves stole it off the lot back in 1970. Started life as a T model but Andial did a restoration and upgrade to slightly modded S specs. Has a 75 2.7 engine making around 200-225hp. I used to dust off Twin Turbo Supra's in it. It'll never leave the family as I was almost born in this car. Thankfully due to it's speed I wasn't I learned how to drive a stick at the age of 12 in it, and my 1st stoplight drag race was in it. I lost to a GLH Turbo
