so is your map sensor mounted to your lm or under the hood by the shock tower?

the reason for swapping to 86 and up big dissy cap is there is a less chance of spark jumping from terminal to terminal inside the cap, and there is more electronics (harness's and computers) available for the later years. you might have a map sensor on you computer and that is a different wiring setup for some computers...

im also a big fan of e85 and log setups if the fuel is available, i ran as much as 18 psi with no intercooler but not for an extended period of time, base timing set to 14 instead of 12, flex fuel injectors and a map clamp. not the best, most efficent, or safe at 18 psi, but pretty cheap... 14 psi would/will still be fun...
