Non Oxy pump premium in MN is still $1.50 more a gallon than reg oxygenated premium. In other words it hasn't dropped nearly as much as regular fuel. I would speculate it won't drop nearly as much as we would have hoped for. As Charles Barkley said in the title of his book, "I may be wrong, but I doubt it." (lol).

How are most race fuels made ? I would imagine in batches like AVgas so I doubt it. Oil is going to snap back and once it starts its going to snap hard.

Assuming gas prices change, I wouldn't think race gas prices would change much. First, you're talking about a niche market good. I don't think the drop in oil prices will really change the quantity demand of race fuel. Next, for what would be a small batch product, you most likely won't have any benefits from economies of scale. It may drop a bit just because the input materials cost less.

All I know is gas prices need to go back up! I was planning on heading back to the Bakken in a couple months but it looks like there will be no work

The only substitute for cubic inches is cubic dollars, how fast can you afford to go?

I want oil price to go back up too I just moved to Watford city 2 weeks ago. We are still very busy but they had to drop the rates a little.

I don't think race fuel went up much compared to street fuel and you are right. Its not the oil you are paying for in that huge race fuel cost. Figure the difference in the cheapest gas price is all you could ever see since the rest of the cost is in labor/processing/handling/storage/dispensing of a low demand low volume product.
