Can a blown turbo seal wash down a cylinder causing low compression?

1987 Shelby Lancer. Engine has 1500 miles on it. Ran fine after rebuild, was parked for a long period and now has 2 cylinders with 60lbs compression. I was going to go through it again, hone and new rings. When I pulled the intake pipes and box they were full of clean oil. It looks like the turbo oil seal went from sitting. Now what I was wondering is if the oil could be washing down the cylinders and causing them to have low compression...? Or are the low cylinders allowing oil in to the turbo ?

    Thanks,

    -Dallas

Can a blown turbo oil seal wash down a cylinder and cause low compression?

1987 shelby lancer. For those of you that haven't read my other post :

Engine has 1500 miles on it. Ran fine after rebuild, was then parked for a long time. Now it has 60psi in two cylinders. I pulled the intake box and pipes and found them full of clean oil. I am wondering if the turbo seal went bad from sitting, is leaking oil internally and washing down the cylinders causing low compression. Or are the cylinders allowing oil in to the turbo ..?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    -Dallas

Which cylinders have 60 psi. Seems like time for a leakdown test for better answers.

Nope, turbo seal didn't cause that but blowby did. The cylinders with 60 psi have a hole in them or melted rings, the blowby blew oil thru the PCV system into your intake thus making it seam like the turbo let go. When you fix this, take the turbine housing off and inspect the turbine for damage.
