Thread: 85 T-I converted to 87 T-II questions

    85 T-I converted to 87 T-II questions

    I had found the old write ups in the dodge garage about do the T-I to T-II conversions and it makes it sound like the 87 TII uses a different throttle cable than 88-92. id imagine because of the 2 piece vs the 1 piece intake. is this true?

    I think it just has to do with the body style and what throttle body bracket you use. There are different length brackets with different spaced slots, etc. Ive found the bracket used on the Throttle Body has more to do with it than the cable itself.

    i have multiple brackets, i guess i really have to have somebody stand out front and i have to actuate the pedal to see if its opening the tb fully or not etc
