fast throttle input means low boost, slow throttle gets higher boost

Odd situation. Add throttle quickly get 5 psi. Now if I slowly roll on throttle it will got the programmed pressure.

No codes, good plugs/wires/o2/map/coolant sensor etc. no codes. Good vacuum lines. If I run a Grainger it will sit at the set boost of the grainger all day with no codes.

I don't have a Wideband. Yes I know I need one at some point.

    Anything else can cause this?

Anyway to clean the waste-gate solenoid or lubricate the solenoid.

check your TPS position at "full" when you slam it fast versus when you push on it slow...perhaps there is a difference for some reason..

Checked tips sweep it's good. Boost button stage two does this with all cals

what year and how are the vacuum lines ran to the solenoid, different years are very different, original t2 or converted?

this is a 88 t2 original. Hoses ran T2 per the diagram. Did some digging and turbonator cals are calling for t1 setup of vacuum. I need to try that.

When did you DL it? There was an update that should have fixed that.

It is setup for T1 boost control, but T2 is an option.

You may want to make sure the vent hole on the grainger valve isn't getting clogged up. That can result in low boost situation.
