FWIW, if you have an Orielleys Auto parts store near you, you can order a cast crank from them. Comes with the main and rod bearings. $159+$45 freight charge. I actually just ordered one for my Spirit R/T to get me back on the road until I can get the stock one repaired.
Hmm, when I looked on Autozone they didn't list a crank. Guess I ddidn't look up the right vehicle. Using the Omni it shows up but here in Cali it's $189 So still cheaper with Orriellys for me since I got military discount.
T3 2.2 crankshaft will have the balance shaft chain drive sprocket on it, easily enough to remove though.
^^^^What he said.

Yeah, think I'm just going to go the autozone route and get a cast crank already machined from them. Should save me a good bit of money too, since I'd probably pay atleast 140 just to get a crank and then another 125 to have it machined.
Thats good to know. Where I live its a a hour and a half round trip to a good machine shop. Much easier to just buy a reman crank. Heck, thats all I need to fix the 89 T2 motor I have stashed away!
