'90 Daytona 2.5 turbo 1 missing some engine to trans bolts

I bought this car from a guy that had been tinkering on this car with his son. After fixing a high idle from a bad IAC I took a test drive and heard a racket coming from the half shafts.

Well I got it up in the air and found the turbo support strut that bolts to the block was not connected and dragging on the axle half shaft. Think playing card in bicycle spokes...

Looks like the prev. Owner may not have checked for this and now one bolt is gone and another close behind:

The above image is the rear engine block to transmission bell housing plate bolt.

I have plans to scour the parts yards nearby when the snow melts.

Anyone else struggle with these bolts backing out? I have had no issues on my 89 2.2 T2 Daytona.

I had issues for a while, I replaced most of the bolts with serrated washer head bolts and never had a problem again.

I can grab one of my parts car if you want. It's A 2.5 T1 motor. I already had to rob bolts for the front engine mount cause PO of my Spirit didn't put all the bolts back in for that, and the ones that were there were just hand tight.

Thanks for the offer, if I strike out at my local parts pull I will PM you.

I've made a habit of putting blue lock-tite on the four bolts that go on the front engine mount, and the three that go on the triangle shaped bracket in your picture. I've never had issues with the two at the top of the bell housing though.

For reference, the torque spec on all the bolts is 70lb.ft.
