I did a little boxing shopping this year, picked up #373 and drove it home 200 km. It drove like a dream.

Congrats on the new ride. Insert jokes about Canadian winters and the metric system here.
Congrats!! That sure is a cool ride, rust and dent free.
I hear it runs and drives excellent.
A rare find for sure.
Thanks
Randy

Thanks Randy. I must say it was a pleasure deal with you. I am proud to be only the 3rd owner of this pocket rocket and I loved that the weather cooperated so I could drive it home. It would have a shame to trailer it. Meant to be driven and enjoyed.
I love the excitement of a new project car, you spend a few hours just staring at it by day and a few sleepless nights thinking about what you want to do with it It usually lasts until you realize it's gonna take 3X more work than you thought Congrats

Most definitely.
If you're a purist, you'll just spend time trying to find the little one off things for the car. If not, you'll start thinking, "Maybe I should go 3" exhaust" and "Well, the old suspension is outdated, I should go with something more modern". And before you know it, it's no longer a restoration. Have fun though and looking forward to the progress!

I have to say that with this car I'm a purist. Probably one of the most original 86 s-car out there. All original except windshield, tires, and battery, rust free. Will be getting paint and decals, hopefully before spring. But I must say my Daytona has 3`exhaust, etc, which I love and my wife hates. She may actually ride with me in this car

Yes JT, there is still a big hole in my heart, but Dale is going to be an excellent caretaker of 373.
I believe he's going to keep it totally stock so that made my decision to let it go easier.
The body is so straight and rust free Dales painter should have an easy time with it.
I still have my Super 60 Omni that I bought new to keep me company.
I'll have to edit my sig. and probably the Shelby Registry but am not sure how to change the registry??
Thanks
Randy

New sig looks good!
For the registry I think you or Dale can go to www.shelbyregistry.com and make submit the update

Congrats. That shiny substance covering your car looks really nice. I see that on cars at the shows all the time, but I've never really seen it on mine.
Nice work Dale!! You're the perfect care taker of a great car!!
Thanks
