    Re: Rear sway options

I had two other people (driving instructors) drive my car on track (two different tracks) to get feedback on how the car handled. Both times I was told it was very close to perfect for the equipment I had (both times I was told that race tires would push it over the "balanced" line, understandably). The only complaint was front/rear brake bias...both times. The one guy said it was "the most fun he's ever had in a FWD". He typically drove a Spec E30.

I will concede that the car did not do as well in auto-x as it could have. Again, part of this is driver.

That does suck. What filler and weld method did you use? Was the axle super clean before welding?

I think the K-car axle lends itself more to having a plate welded to it than the l-body axle does in terms of it not just cracking in other places once you add the plate. I have never done an L-body one personally.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

so sounds like the best option for the l body is just add the sway bar and leave the axle alone?

Filler and method doesn't really matter since it's the car's rear axle that has cracks.

Im going to try to find some V8 grand chero springs. XJ, ZJ, and TJ springs are all interchangeable. I would think V8 ZJ springs would be the stiffest stockers.
