On of the shadows was a nice looking ES turbo. Kind of sad to see it there. Was complete a few weeks ago.

I'd love to check it out. The Chrysler section at the yards here seem to have turned into the Intrepid section.
Then again, I like Carlisle since it brings the good parts to me with a bonus of not having to pull them.
Is the $55 showfield registration all i need to be signing up for?
Yes.
You will get a sticker for your windshield that allows you to park on the show field and a goody bag.

Do you have to hit the 25 on Friday, or pre registration?
I was about to pre-register, but I noticed a little blurb about no "for sale" signs allowed on show field and that I should contact them to put my vehicle in the car corral. I'd like to be with everyone else at the show. Anyone familiar with the event think I have anything to worry about if I leave something discreet on my drivers seat while on the show field saying the van is for sale along with my phone number?
Also, do they even have classes for the turbo vans that are near the other FWD vehicles?
^ Event staff walks the field looking for that kind of stuff, you may be hit with a seller fee.
The class for the turbo vans is with the regular vans.i got into a heated aurgument with the show director last year about this.He said there are alot of them here every year.I told him no there isnt and im parking with the FWD class and registering with the fwd class. He said fine im not counting your votes. It wasnt a pretty discussion.I wasnt parking all the way up with the molester vans that noone goes and looks at so i parked with the fwd guys. This year i registered as a 87 Caravelle so that guy can go F@!# himself.
But you could park next to this guy!

Ah Crud! I had a feeling about the vans not being put in the FWD class. Glad I asked!
My title says "Station Wagon". Do they have a separate class for those in FWD? LOL!
Maybe I'll just make the trek home from SDAC on Wednesday night and grab a GLHS or CSX and head back to Carlisle Thursday night. 10 hour round trip....hmmmmm.

This is last years event guide. Around page 33 there's a map of the show field. It'll give you an idea of how they organize the show, and the size of it.
I registered in the F-body/misc RWD class. I have no idea where I'll have to park. lol At one time they a had a seperate J body class, but that was long before new Chargers and Challengers etc. were taking up space. I thought about just registering in FWD and leaving the hood closed.
Where you park only really matters in the voting, which isn't a big deal on Thursday or Friday, most of the voting gets done Saturday.

Anyone going thursday as well?
I just got my registration and showfield window sticker in the mail. Online I selected Front Wheel Drive class, but I also put 1990 Plymouth Voyager as the car year/make/model. Well, the registration shows "Class: Y447 Van". So they did what we thought they would do, and put me in the van class instead of the FWD class. Bummer.
