    Rampage rear brake issue.

I have a Rampage with a 2.5 hybrid motor that I've had for about 12 years. I put Caravan front brakes and a 24mm MC in it, while leaving the stock rear drums. The problem I have is the load-regulated proportioning valve in the back. It makes the pedal really spongy and I can't make the brakes lock up at all. This can't be the way these things are supposed to work. And yes I did bleed them thoroughly. Does anyone else out there have this problem?

My first thought would be to stick the caravan valve in there.... unless your MC is the issue, need bench bleeding.

+1. My rear prop valve was frozen up as well. I removed it, hard plumbed the rear lines, and forgot about it. I installed a Dynasty MC, HD K-car front discs and calipers, and minivan rear wheel cylinders in the stock drums. MUCH better brakes, and no more spongy brake pedal. Wish I had done this upgrade years ago...
