Sorry for late response. There's no way to get a pic of it that would turn out good enough for viewing. Had to use a pen flashlight down in there to even see it. The block is going to my buddy for scrap in a short while too, just moving on and starting over with a fresh block. But I will be sure to check oil galley's from now on before tossing a grand into block machining.

I'm not sure of exactly how far away I really am from you,
but my machinist is an incredibly talented and experienced guy.
His only draw back(some impatient folk say), is he takes his time with everything!
I dropped off my block to him last month.
He called me once to discuss the work to the crankshaft,
but other than that, he is carrying out the specific operations I asked for.

Matt, what machine shops have you had issues with around Carlisle? And when did you move to Carlisle? I'm about to picking up a new fwd project car. Shoot me a PM on here, would like to catch up since you're back in the game.
I've been going to UCF, thats the only machine shop I know of in carlisle. But I've also been to Ryder Racing in Mechanicsburg, and Feeser's in Harrisburg. They've all screwed me over in one way or another. The only time i ever got good work was when Industrial Motors was open over in Harrisburg but they closed 10+ years ago.
Have you tried Schaffer brothers machine shop in Carlisle?
I would definitely be willing to give them a try. Have you gone there and had good work done by them?
Yes I've had them do work for me very nice guys and the do great work
