    Replacement fuel pump supplier

Has anyone used this place to purchase a replacement fuel pump?

    http://treperformance.com/i-6323896-...1985-1990.html

Looking at getting this 255 LPH to replace the 2 pump system on a GLHT
It's basically going to be just a cruiser, no racing involved.
I've read info on TRE from a few other forums and haven't seen any complaints.

    Thanks Guys!

    Re: Replacement fuel pump supplier

They used to be 2 doors down from my shop in Costa Mesa (they've moved a block away a couple years ago) so I bought a pump from them. It didn't last but a few months and a cople thousand miles in my IROC RT. When the whole Chinese knockoff pump scandel cropped up here I posted pics of what I had bought from them and the consensus was that their offering was of Chinese origin... For that price I don't think we would expect otherwise.

The worm clamps are a nice touch.

The tre performance pumps actually get good reviews current day. And are the "other" option if you can't find walbro.

I put one in my 3.5L V6 turbo '87 Shadow just before SDAC this year and have not had a problem with it...

I only use Deatschwerks pumps. 3 year no fault warranty had me sold.

Heck, didn't know they were that cheap
    That's a no brainer
Any additional modding to get it to work?
You might have had a thread about installation, no?

Running a TRE pump in my van. Been over a year with boost at 20psi still running good. I did use the correct line and clamps.

I just had a chinese walbro die on me. It was 7 years old but had almost no miles on it. Bought it from ebay. Will only be buying from vendors from now on.
