Upgrading LM cal to 4 bar

What changes do I make on a 3 bar calibration to make it work with a 4 bar sensor? I still use D-Cal (MPTune doesn't recognize the table file I have).

There was a fairly comprehensive list on here a while back which included all of the tables which need to be scaled for MAP. Perhaps look at MPTune and see which tables it scales and then do that to the D-cal tables if your tbl file is detailed enough?

Use MPtune to make a cal by copying all the info from D-Cal manually.

Once you've done that, turning the car to 4 bar is gonna be a 10 second job.

or you can try using the upgrade option under the miscellaneous table to get it into an mptune format to use for comparison table. if that works you can then easily show the comparison table (as long as the chrysler table names match) and adjust the turbonator cal template to match. the fact that is already converted to a 3 bar might be an issue. i'ld be willing to help if you want.

So how would I do that?

Is the D-cal calibration manually converted to MPtune?

It might be. I can open it in MPtune and it lists all the stuff in the left column Like D-cal does, under a single heading called "Unassigned".

do you have both the .bin and .tbl file for the calibration? i assume you do. if you want you could send it to me and i'll take a look at it. first thing would be to try to upgrade it to the mptune format using the "upgrade" option under the miscellaneous tab. pm me if you want.

I do have the .bin and .tbl files. I did in fact use the "upgrade" option to get it to show what I described above so I could be close. I can send those files to you. I'll pm you.

I can dis-assemble your current cal and turn it into a full T/LM Template fairly easily - if it's a GLHS or 87 T2 cal.

was this the blueberry60 cal that was made by geoff allan? did you use this with zchem (chem2)? if so is there a calx file also? if you have already "upgraded" using mptune there is not much more i can do that hasn't been suggested already. however, the calx file would provide some additional info as far as scaling, injectors, map, grouping, etc.

Re: Upgrading LM cal to 4 bar

moch_glh - i sent files back to your yahoo account. my yahoo account is virtually unusable lately so i hope you get them. to upgrade to a 4 bar you just need to select the scaling option for map and choose 4 bar (it should already show you are at 3 bar).

    pm with questions.
