    Chris,
What turbine stage do you recommend with your exhaust header, what kind of turbo ?

Would be used with a 2.5L CB, 655 stage 3 head, lengel intake, spearco 1080 fmic, beefed up auto trans .
    For street use.

You can go with a Stage 2 or 3. If a faster spool up is important go with the Stage 2. T04E 50 Trim compressor wheel has always worked the best for all around street use.

Moparzrule went with a different wheel combination that has worked well with our header, but, his vehicle might be more of a track car then what you are looking for.

Other good combinations have emerged in recent years as well. It might pay to read up on Turbo-Mopar for what works for applications similar to yours.

Re: Gauging Interest- Chrysler .63 A/R turbine housing Group Buy

Not that we want to make this too much of a discussion thread, but I'm getting full boost around 3300 with a 57 trim stage 3 on a 2.2L. On a 2.5L it would spool considerably faster. I've heard before that the TU header helps spool, and although I haven't run this setup on a ported stock manifold I'm pretty sure it spools faster than one. I had a 46 trim with .63 stage 2 on my old shadow which had a virtually identical engine other than ported stock exhaust manifold and ported 2 piece intake, and had full boost around 3200 rpm. I was expecting this turbo to be a slow spooling like 3800 full boost, but was very pleasantly surprised.

For that reason I would recommend a stage 3, even on the street. Full boost around 3000 RPM is plenty quick spooling.

I wouldn't use a stage 3 .63 a/r turbo for the street or track but that's just me, unless its an rpm engine.

Depends on what the main purpose of the vehicle is. Using a Stage 3 with an automatic tranny and high stall TC would allow you to power brake to build boost at the line. The larger wheel might not be so good for auto cross application though.

Re: Gauging Interest- Chrysler .63 A/R turbine housing Group Buy

Good News! Just received a message from the manufacture today regarding upgrading the nickel content of these housings to M4 specs. We are currently waiting on the cost increase over M3 which was originally quoted. If the amount is minor TU will absorb the increase and pricing will remain the same. Besides reducing corrosion, the advantage to using the M4 over the M3 material is mainly resistance to developing heat stress cracks around the wastegate port hole and snail exit. Chrysler started using M4 in their manifolds and turbine housings around 1990.

Once we reach 30 participants we will start collecting the $75. deposits. Per our previous post we must reach 40 paid deposits by Nov. 15. This will secure our production window with our manufacturer guaranteeing Spring '15 deliveries and pricing for all GB participants.

Just for simplicity (and so I don't forget about it), can I just pay the full $175 up front when the time comes?

Yes you can. The only reason we offer the lower deposit is some people are budgeting as we approach the holidays. When the time comes there will be an option on our site to pay full price.

    Thanks!

These Performance Turbine Housings have been out of stock for way too long. Since the original manufacturer has not stepped up to the plate to create more of them we decided to spearhead the project ourselves.

Chrysler Style (.63 A/R) Turbine housings in Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3. Still unsure if DBB will be added but Stage 1 can always be machined by the buyer to fit. No turbo purchase necessary.

NOTE: Group Buy participant price is $175. each if 40 deposits of $75. are received by the deadline on November 15th. Delivery date would be early Spring 2015.

If 30 to 39 deposits of $75. have been received by November 15th Group buy pricing increases to $225. and delivery date is pushed back to late Spring/Early Summer 2015.

If less then 30 deposits are received by November 25th the project will be canceled and all deposits will be returned.

Please go here to provide your deposits. http://turbosunleashed.com/shop/chry...ngs-p-487.html Include your screen name in the comment field and add "PAID" next to your name on this list.

An option was included for Full Group Buy Pay if we reach 40 deposits. It will change if we fall short of our goal.
