    adjustable clutch?

    hey guys! is the clutch on my 87 csx adjustable? i know its cable operated but i cant find a place to adjust it.

    Pull up on the clutch pedal to adjust. there is a spring that pulls the cable tight when you release the ratchet by pulling the pedal up.

    They are supposed to auto adjust. In my experience they work well ive never had to adjust one.

    Yep. FSM procedure is to pull the pedal up after install. Only problem is that oftentimes the tooth block thats attached to the cable loses its teeth after 20+ years of heat cycles. You may need to inspect this to be sure its still intact. If the teeth are gone, it's time for a new adjuster block.
