    Long wheel studs p/n

Anyone order up some ARP or other extended wheel stud lately and happy with the fit? What was the brand and p/n you got?

Last time I put studs in it was many many years ago and i had to grind some off the sides of the head to get them to seat correctly and want to avoid that.

    Thanks!

    Justin

I used studs from a Taurus. They're about a half inch longer. Not as long as MP studs, but they work well for my race wheels.

Wasn't there some wierdness about one side being longer than the other with those though? There's a thread about it somewhere.

Do those ARP 100-7721s fit correctly? I was gonna order a set to test but if you can confirm that would be great!

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll try the taurus one (610-416) and see how they do!

Do those ARP Neon studs require drilling out the hole a bit larger? I thought i remembered that. I have a set to install on the back of Mini before SDAC.

They should not from what I can tell. They only thing that looks amiss with the neon ones is the shoulder length (knurl lenght) is only ~.25" I think. Seems on the short side but should be ok.

I use these for L-body applications (front only). No mods necessary.

How about using them on the rear though? Still no mod?
