1989 TII shelby Daytona - Dayton, ohio

I have decided to see if I can sell my car. I want to concentrate on my conquest this winter and my wife says one of them has to go. I have put quite a bit into this car thinking I was going to keep it for a while but plans change.

1989 Daytona Shelby intercooled turbo. odometer says roughly 129,000 miles but it doesn't work. The engine is very strong it has 20in of vacuum at Idle and compression measures roughly 130 psi across the board. I am thinking the engine has been replaced at some point and I will explain later.

    Good:

Very nice grey cloth interior - no rips, still has daytona script floor mats(though in worn condition) and Cargo cover. power drivers seat.
    Newer tires, plenty of tread
    New rear KYB shocks
    New mopar, Speed distance sensor
Autometer 30psi boost guage in place of stock gauge
Brakes are newer and are the larger 4 wheel disks
new welded 3" catback exhaust w/ new catco 3" cat and Borla 3" SS muffler. exhaust looks stock with a little black turn down
    new timing belt and tensioner.
2 new front Axles - Tranny was flushed and filled at that time.
new NAPA ball joints (the good ones) A-arms were coated with rust bullet and the bushings are new polybushings.
    Alignment done 100 miles ago
T2/T3 clutch has about 3000 miles
FWDPerformance Under drive pulley(new)- new belts
    Ebay BOV
    K&N cone filter.
turbo boosts great! I have had it to 25psi. car does not smoke.
Factory infinity Stereo works great just had to replace the front passenger speaker.
A555 Tranny shifts great with 2 fingers

misc new stuff w/less than 500 miles: 3 step older plugs, Mopar HEP, Cap, and Rotor.
    MSDcoil(yellow, oil filled).
Vacuum block with new Silicone tubing throughout.
    new map/solenoid(mopar)
    new Throttle position sensor
Probably some other stuff I can't think of right now.
Previous owner and I have always used Mobile 1 oil and filters - believe it or not the oil is very clean/clear when it is changed after 3000 miles.

    The bad:

There is an oil leak, I think it is coming from the oil return on the turbo but I haven't been able to get underneath and check it out to make sure.

The body is the only downfall of this car. From a distance it looks great.
Paint is peeling on top and there small spots of rust on the fender wheel wells(outside). I painted the body rust with Rust bullet(like por15) to stop it until I got the body work done.

the drivers side front fender and door(just bought a new door for it )have been grazed at some point. The paint is not scored but there is some damage.

the front end of the car has been in an accident at some point but was repaired very well. The good news is, it is very shiny paint, the fog lights are there, the A/C condenser looks new, the front bumper support is new and some other things were replaced too. Pop up headlights work great (Motors were replaced) Oil pan is new and the car runs great. I am thinking the engine was replaced or rebuilt at the time the front end was hit. I can't confirm that but it sure runs good!

I would have to say that i have roughly $2200-2500 in this car
So, I am looking for $1800 but Will consider offers considering the body damage and the oil leak(which I will be working on this week) I also have around $1000 dollars in upgrades that are available to seal the deal.
New +40's, 3 bar map, FWD Performance Stage5 cal and AFPR - These are not included for the $1800 but i will consider them to seal the deal.

I had to drive this car to work for 2 weeks and had no issues 50 miles a day It is very reliable and will make a long trip. Most of the time it sits in my driveway since my Neon gets better milage.

I should have some pictures tonight!
