    Welcome to the site!

The trans won't bolt right up. You could drop a 2.4 in with a ton of modifications. Post up some pictures of the car and tell us what your goals are.

I wouldn't say a ton of modifications, you don't want to scare him away from the 2.4 swap. 1FastCSX289 did a 2.4 swap (along with me and some others). Search his name and do some reading on what he did to his CSX.

As far as I know, no one has ever swapped a Caliber SRT-4 2.4L engine and 6-speed trans into an older turbo Mopar.

I was thinking the older 2.4 not the Caliber 2.4. If it's the Caliber 2.4 then Cordes would be right, a ton of modifications.

Regardless of which 2.4 we're talking about I think it's a matter of perspective. Many guys on this site could do it without much trouble, but it's still a ton of work. Modifying the stock electronics or going aftermarket isn't for the feint of heart.

I agree with cordes too. I just completed the swap in my caravan using the neon 2.4 and even with the help and info from others who have done it. It still requires a lot of effort, planning, and some custom fab. It's not something you are going to go down to the local repair shop and get done. unless you have extremely high goals and or pocket book your better off staying sohc. I did it because I wanted to play with something different, but I have experience doing engine swaps where fabrication is required.
