It looks to me like grease from the balljoint got on the brake disc. This can contaminate the pads and cause premature pad failure.
There could be some sort of FOD stuck somewhere, or was stuck that could have caused this, too.
It's best to take the whole shebang apart so it can be diagnosed as to what needs to be replaced.
You'll be able to tell pretty easily if it's the caliper. In my experience it's not the caliper anyway, but the guide pins which have become gummed up and won't move. Then any little bit of junk in there will cause that IMO.
Hmmmm.........if it was the caliper it wouldnt be able to open correct?

You can get drilled/slotted/dimpled rotors from EBC that are bolt-on. I think I got mine from Summit.
For just better braking from the stock system, good quality non-parts store pads and DOT 4 brake fluid. The "poor man's" racing brake fluid used to be the Ford brake fluid for their Super Duty trucks. Of course you can run Super Blue, or Motol, etc if you like.
I felt the rotor and the back end is warped like a wave....the passenger side isnt...

Have you any experience with replacing brakes?
The condition you originally described;
Was this after the Mopar techs replaced the rotors? Or before? Or both?
I suggest you disassemble the brakes with the issue,
and inspect them personally.
The ball-joint appears to have grease build up(somewhat normal),
but at times harder foreign objects can get caught in there.
There may be a stone, or some other debris stuck in the grease,
and contacting the rotor.
Surely grinding, warping the rotors, and causing your issue, and possibly other problems.
Wish you the best my friend.
Make sure to check the brake hose that goes to the caliper. If it is bad the core can collapse and cause the caliper to be stuck.
