Ok well the time has come to get rid of my Omni. It's been a great car. It's been a fun car. Probably my favorite turbo mopar I've ever owned. But I need a good daily driver.

    The specs
85 Omni GLHT. It's 86 GLHS #314's clone. I'm not sure what happened to #314. But the guy I got this car from had wrecked 314 and it's gone. It's got #314's dash plaque. So here's the clone. I repeat. This is a clone car.
    Stripped interior.

    2 eBay race seats
    Corbeau retractable 4 point harness
    Autopower 6 point roll cage
    Grant removable steering wheel
Engine is a 87 t2 block. Stock bottom end .020 over cast pistons
    Oil filter relocation
    Stock swirl head
Taft stage 2 cam and supporting springs
    Stock exhaust mani
    Stock 2 piece intake
    TU fuel rail
    Accufab regulator
    Mopar +40 flow matched injectors
Turbonetics super 60 turbo set at 17psi with a large can wastegate
    Stainless oil and coolant lines
    3in swing valve and downpipe
    Full 3in mandrel bent exhaust
No cat no muffler (sorry environment)
    Large NPR intercooler
    Turbo XS RFL bov
    Metal intercooler pipe
87 socketed lm with custom glhs 3 bar map tune. Safe for daily driving.
Aem wideband (needs a new sensor)
Auto meter boost, oil pressure, oil temp, fuel pressure, and EGT gauges
Cliff Ramsdall fully built A555 with quafie limited slip diff NO grinds or any problems shifts great.
    Equal length shafts
    Matching cable shifter
TU 4 puck clutch (not sure which one but it grabs great)
    Aluminum flywheel
    Ground control coilover setup
    Koni struts
    Ebach springs
    ROH reflex 16in wheels
    Fairly new tires 205/45/16
    Jaz 8 gallon fuel cell
    2 fuel pumps
    Poly motor mounts
    Mini van brakes up front
    Spirit RT disc out back
    Stainless brake lines
    Battery behind the drivers seat
This car is set up for road racing and auto x.

Now the major issue (to me). The rear motor mount busted off from the k member. That little tab. It needs to be welded back on. I haven't had time to fix it yet. If I fix it I'll update this.
Smokes a little on decel after a hard acceleration sometimes. I think it's turbo seals. No shaft play. Turbo is tight. This car sat for 5 years before I got ahold of it. So that may have something to do with it.

RUST FREE! Well actually there is one rust bubble on the entire car. Drivers door at the bottom.
I have some extra parts as well. I'm really not sure all what I have. It's just random stuff. Extra heads. A block. Some Hall effect processors. A full Shelby decal set. Etc etc.

    And a video walk around.

I don't think it's a question of want... more $$ and location, not that it's not worth the $$ or the drive! That is one clean, pretty Omni !

    Nice car.

With a car like this, you're looking at one very specific buyer.

    You said it yourself,
But I need a good daily driver.
This car have no back seats, no a/c, no radio, minimal comfort and probably have to be stored for snowy winter.

You might have to wait a while before you find that one buyer.

How is this car still for sale? If it was a Honda it would have sold a long time ago. What is happening to our hobby? Where are the buyers?

I've been sayin and thinkin that for a few years now. Cars and parts are selling really slow and have been for quite a while. Cars that should have sold in a week are taking sometimes over a year to sell. Many nice ones that were for sale still haven't sold yet! Seems like a buyers market for sure.
Good luck with sale Brandon. Seems like a pretty good deal for someone looking for a GLHT.

    Re: 85 GLHT Omni 3500

Well, Brandon backed out of the sale on me. He quoted me a price (I never made an offer, took the price he quoted me). I told him in my first text to him my intentions for the car and he told me "what I did with it was my business". Now he says he can't sell it knowing that it will be a donor car. Hate to say it but buyer beware.

    Re: 85 GLHT Omni 3500

Sorry. I thought about it and I don't think I could let this car go knowing that it's just gonna end up being a donor car. It's too nice to end up that way.
So please. Go ahead and try to bad mouth me on here saying "buyer beware". You ain't out anything. No money was exchanged. You didn't make a trip. No papers were signed. Nothing was done. I choose not to sell it to you for PERSONAL reasons.
It's a personal sale. Not a business sale. I'm not obligated to sell anything to anyone if I don't want to.
Like you said. "It is what it is"
    Thanks.

Not badmouthing you at all Brandon, just stating how things went. I however try and keep my word in business deals.
