Do you have an appraised value on your car?

I would think 3500 should be a fair price. They hit you not the other way around.
Yea. I hope to at least get that for it. I really hate to see this car go like this. But I don't think I'd fix it. Probably end up parting it out.
WTF! why!
So sorry to see that picture of your (very nice looking) car. I'm going through the process right now with my insurance company too, but luckily, not regarding my turbo-mopar. Hope all goes well with your insurance company.
Sorry to see that. time to revisit that original offer ironically.
Oh man my worst fear when driving the glhs and the Consulier. Would the bumper have absorbed all the impact and left the body undamaged?
Just looked up appraisal fees around here. $655! holy cow!
Sorry to see and hear of your misfortune Brandon. that is a bummer!!! If you had insured the car with agreed value, I would be a slam dunk without the need for an appraisal. Most collector insurance has a basement for agreed value of 5K. Unless you're driving the vehicle as a daily driver, I don't understand why anyone wouldn't have collector insurance. It's way cheaper than normal daily driver insurance to boot. You just need to pick the correct coverage for your situation.

That is ridiculous. Better keep checking and find someone that really wants your appraisal business...Or better yet, insure with collector insurance and let them appraise your vehicle on their dime. You can get about three years worth of year round insurance for that price.

dang good to know!
In the process of writing down a list of stuff that I'm parting with on the car. I really feel that's the best way right now. Coil overs and wheels and tires are going on #493 and I may purchase it.
Remember don't take anything off until the insurance is settled.
Sorry to hear about your accident. I deal with this kind of stuff all the time. NADA classic values states your car is worth $3800 high retail. This is where you should start when negotiating your loss. You don't need an appraisal. PM if you want help.
