Hey, the important thing is that you still have it. Those were very rare to start off with and I hardly see them any more.

Rare enough that many people have never seen one. There is a nice purple one near me that I see at car shows. Yours looks nice to me. Got plans for it?

I like convertible Daks. I want one, even though I have no clue what I'd do with it.

I didn't realize how rare the convertibles were.... there's one that's in half decent shape right down the road from me that never moves. Think I'm gonna go see what I can get it for.

    my dodge collection

    909 convertibles built in 1990
Only 9 were built in 91 all were Shelbys
I had already hacked mine up before I realized it was a factory convertible 8(

    Re: my dodge collection

I saw one listed for 900 bucks locally a year or two ago.

It wasnt even listed as a convertible and it was black on black so i didnt even realize it WAS a convertible until about the 3rd time i looked at the ad. It had terrible pics shown on a tow dolley with the bed full of scrap.

Then when i realized what it was the ad got taken down. I didnt have contact info but i remembered the street it was listed on. I found the street and drove up and down it but never spotted the truck. Sucks.

Dont push the red button. You hear me?

You mean Dakota Sport's? If they have "Shelby" on them and aren't a 1989 and a V8 then they aren't real Shelby trucks. All the ones I've ever seen are Dakota Sport V6 trucks.

You are correct I mis-remembered the literature on the 91s
Only the 89s has the available Shelby package

    Re: my dodge collection

It's all good. I have heard other people call them Shelby's, too. I have even seen one in person that had pretty much an entire Shelby interior. Also have to remember that the V8 did become available in the later 2nd Gen trucks, so it can be confusing.
