    Newb looking into tuning

    Hey guys,

I've been getting interested in seeing how many people run their own tunes and calibrations on their cars. I have a regular LM and PM setup on my Omni with a 3Bar from FWD and an adjustable fuel rate regulator. The car made 324hp on 21psi with this setup.

I have a buddy who built an LS powered 3rd gen camaro with a 70mm turbo from eBay, and controls it with MegaSquirt. Whenever were at the track, I always watch him read his datalogs and make a few adjustments, then make another run and he goes a little faster. It's something I would like to get into.

I've seen that we have MPscan and MPtune and I'm curious as to what all it can do, what kind of physical parts would I need if I wanted to upgrade to it, and can it control different parameters such as fuel rate from the pump, can you turn on individual parts on (my buddy can turn his fuel pump on from the computer) and can it do live monitoring and such.

I really want to possibly get the omni into the 400hp range of I upgrade the turbo and MAP to support it without stressing the turbo. My ultimate goal is 10s and I'll be studying all I can during this deployment coming up

    Thanks!

Right now I'm troubleshooting a code 13 in another thread. But when it was at FWD it put down 324whp at 21psi. I still have 8psi left on the cal but before I push the cal and the turbo that much, I would like to have some type of monitoring other than a wideband lol
So far my fastest ET has been a 13.3@104 on M&H slicks. Could never get them to really smoke since my rear ebrake wont hold the car still and I end up rolling forward, so I essentially spin the whole way through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. Funny thing is that I trapped a 109 on street tires before though lol
