    2004 srt4 in the garage

Pulled the trigger in a 2004 EBkue with 31k original miles.

Mostly stock with original tires that came with car.

This will be a garage queen that I probably won't even register.

Want to keep the low milage original thing for as long as I can stand it

Congrats Mike! However, I'm not buying the whole "stick it in the garage and never drive it" bit.

Congrats Mike. I'm thinking pretty hard about an SRT4 these days. With how long it takes me to pry my wallet open it'll only be another two years before I pull the trigger.

Re: 2004 srt4 in the garage

The best thing you can do with low mileage cars is not drive them, so i support this garage ornament purchase. All you have to do to turn a special srt4 into a non-special srt4 is drive it and modify it. Whats the point of being picky to get a 'survivor' if all you're going to do is use up the thing that makes it special and turn it into just another srt4?

I'd like to know how someone got 31K out of those tires
I just changed mine last weekend, my car has 24K and they were a pinch away from the wear bar, and I didn't
race on those, I had drag radials.
Oddly enough, the Toyo's I installed have more grip than the KDW's I took off, KDW's were showing cracks on the sidewall

Mike bought Scott Drega's (ScottD) SRT-4. Some of you may know that Scott had a medical issue last November, which will take him likely years to recover from. As a result, I'm helping him sell off some of his automotive stash, so you'll start seeing some ads posted soon.

This SRT-4 is definitely one of the nicest ones out there. Scott is meticulous with his cars. He bought this one brand new and it's essentially been an occasional use car for him since he bought it. Always garage kept, immaculate condition. He put an MP stage 2 kit on it, motor mount inserts, an MP exhaust an Kosei K1's on it (with new tires) but kept every single original part he's taken off of it, right down the spark plugs and wires. I was tempted to buy this one myself, but I would have used it as a driver, which is not what I would have liked to have seen with this car. I'm thrilled that Mike got it and hope that he does everything possible to keep it as a survivor for years to come.
