    ZF Conversion

    Will the ZF pump, hoses and bracket bolt right into an L-body without any modifications/problems. A nice looking turbo daytona just showed up in one of my local yards and it has the ZF pump on it. If it will bolt right in, this will solve my power steering pump issue and also allow me to run the DC header without a problem.

    You might check Shadow's posts, I understand he's running one, but I have to imagine that in addition to the pump itself, you'd need the associated brackets too, as the pumps are quite different in shape/mounting points.

    Correct^
    Installing the ZF in an "L" body requires the Pump and bracketry;
    As well as the ZF specific lines.
    You'll be able to keep your rack though.

    It's a relatively straight forward mod, with great clearance benefits.
    Some say the ZF Pump is a bit louder than the Saginaw,
    but if the benefits are what you need, it's worth it.

    Re: ZF Conversion

    I should have been more clear in my first post. I figured I would need the pump, lines and bracketry, I just wasn't sure if the lines would fit and route correctly in the L-body and have the same fitting as the L-body rack.
    Thank you,
    Dan
