I can't believe after all this now you want to sell.

Well yah, it's only original once, some other cars are going together from piles of parts though, so I'd say there's no guilt on those owners for not putting year correct drivetrain etc in them...

... so will the chassis take 750HP if I do a full on twin turbo 3.0 build?

( J/K I'm imagining they're exciting with ~200HP, adrenaline overload on ~300HP and OMG-OMG-OMG-IMA-DIE!!!11111 with 400, with 750 I think you'd have to strap your right shoe down to the brake pedal, and just blow hard at the gas pedal once in a while .... )

Technically I never said I wanted to sell, I posed a Feeler ad That's a popular title on other forums but just not here. It's a non committal sales attempt that has a huge number attached to it to dissuade potential suitors.

I know right, and we're all taking the advantage to chat you up knowing we won't have to put out.

see that's an old wives tale, parts are out there a plenty if you know where to look. Actually if you are in with the in people is what I should say Even if the T3 did make more power () It'd have better weight distribution with the Masi

Masi power doth thwart TIII power if ye have more than a 6th pence to spend.

    lol

Though I do wonder if you had both which would require more money by the time you get done fixing all the T3 issues.

If you were concerned about money that 2.4 in your garage with low miles would be used lol, and the time spent building the intake and exhaust lol. Masi is a cool engine but the thrill of a TD isn't spending Hemi car amounts of money to go faster.... The T3 and the Masi don't have many parts out there. So building either is building garage decoration worrying about breaking something you can't easily replace.

    Re: Consulier GTP feeler

I'm not concerned with the amount of money I'm spending on my Masi, I am curious which of the 2 costs more in the end. I have a feeling it's pretty close if not a little more in the Masi's favor. Yep I could use the 2.4 sitting in the shop but I don't want to. I'd say the castings would be the hardest thing to replace. All the other stuff is easily replaceable. gonna be pretty hard to nuke a cylinder head casting or intake manifold. Hell I've already cut my intake apart and so have many others so maybe throw that one out the window.

TBH if I had a pile of parts Consulier I just wanted 16V ooomph in, I'd go hybrid.... but that's thinking autocross and track day mode, not sympathetic shiny restomod.

Exactly! The simple fact that this one is complete, built right, drives right, Performs Right! It's easily worth the asking price!

    Re: Consulier GTP feeler

We are just messing around! If I had the money to buy it I would leave it be.

As for the Masi Vs. TIII, I bet they are close to the same as well, provided you start with a good Masi. There are a few parts for the Masi that are hard to come by, but in all honesty it doesn't seem to me that it's all that bad. You just have to have all the things to begin with.

I personally have no problem with the amount I'm spending on my Masi. Yeah, it's stupid expensive (in TM terms), but it's going to check all the boxes for me, so to speak. I knew what I was getting into when I started with the Masi. It's not for everybody and there are certainly cheaper ways to make to power and build a 16V engine, but to me that's not the point.

Well with the # of people I've seen get burnt on T3 engines it is my 4th choice on what engine I'd put in one of these. Besides I have a Masi pistoned, Titanium Long rod T2 forged crank and Masi headed motor just waiting to go in the back of one of these.
