    8v Header Flanges

Now stocking header flanges for 8v motors. Perfect for those who want to build their own manifold. CNC machined from .500" thick, 304SS for a sturdy base for a turbo manifold. The flange transitions from the exhaust port shape to 1-1/4" schedule 10 pipe. Makes for an easier time to fit up the runner. $100 plus the ride.

Very nice looking header!!! I like the over the tranny turbo placement! And then I want either a middle/over valve cover or more to the passenger side TB placement for the intake.

Glad you like it. They are the nicest flanges I've seen for the 8v to date.

They are very very nice. Love how they transition to round for you.

I ask only because I bought the JRB header years ago, Now the head flange was only .375, and the tubing was thing wall but after a few months the flange warped and cracked the pipes at the welds. But when it was ok I absolutely loved it. I'd really love to take one of these flanges and have something like the old MP header design wise. But I daily my cars and I do take note that this flange is thicker as well as using schedule 10 elbows I'd hate to invest into it only to have the same thing happen.

So I'm kinda leaving it up to other people to be the guinea pig on these. Brian I know you've built at least a couple of these schedule 10 type headers. How have they held up?

    Re: 8v Header Flanges

I've only had mine on for about 9 months, but so far I've pushed 10-20 psi auto crossing and driven thousands of miles (5-7K) and no issues. I don't have an EGT gauge, so I can't testify to the temps. So far so good. Mine is ceramicoated, btw.

My experience with all of my manifolds has been very good(knocks on wood)

I feel it all comes down to design, execution, and how well the manifold was welded when built. Support of the header/turbo is paramount also when hanging it way off to the side or far back and down.
