It sure is tempting. The problem though is that I'm in Tennessee haha

Bump, still looking for a home
It can be yours road trip to cali
I have next week off. Pulling the dash on my WJ to replace the heater core and then pulling the wiring harness on the shadow and inspecting/repairing every inch, rewrapping it and replacing all relays.
I'm just flabbergasted that this car hasn't sold yet. It is such an awesome example of turbo Mopar goodness.
I would love to pick it up for myself, because 4-door P-bodies rule, but I don't think my boss would let me get away for that kind of road trip. Sounds fun though!
We can get it shipped to wyoming
Ack, it's so tempting! To tell you the truth, what I really want is a gold GLH Turbo.
I used to have an '89 Shadow ES Turbo 4-door and it was hands down my fav. I absolutely loved that car until a drunk driver smashed it trying to park.
Now if only I could find a solar yellow Shadow ES 4-door. I'd be on cloud 9! The funny thing is that there is one locally that I rarely ever see, but they exist!
It looks like Sacramento is about 1200 miles from here. Would this car be up to the challenge of that kind of road trip back to Wyoming? I still have bad memories of buying my Shelby Lancer in State College PA back in '99 and it threw a rod through the block a few hundred miles from home. We got it home eventually, and it has been through evolutions of upgrades and now sports a 16v. If anybody could really take care of this car, it would be me.

I'd love to take you up on that offer and show you my crazy collection of turbo Mopar stuff, but then you'd have to get from Gillette WY to Tuscola IL...I often think that it would be best to rent a Uhaul or buy a Ford Transit Connect and bring that to the next SDAC. As long as it isn't on the east coast. I have so many parts and engines...
I have a badass Spirit R/T I'm building lately. The 2.5L TIII engine is done and a Cliff R built A568/A523/OBX is ready to go in. I was going to sell it to my brother, but that doesn't look like it will work out. I'll probably sell it locally (thanks to my previous Spirit R/T making a name for itself). That would certainly make room.
Somebody but this car already! It is a steal!
What was the reason behind raising the compression to 9.5:1? Just curious. And was the transmission rebuilt?

Low end for the street. His previous car was a fairly standard Daytona, dynoed between 300 and 350 hp. When he built this car he wanted something nore for the street, and "learned from the previous build". The key pieces are 2.5L, higher compression and small turbo. It will never be a big 20+ psi car or put down over 300 hp but it is a blast around town, and will embarass a lot of cars.
Oh and btw guys, the wife is telling me to part it out...just sayin...
ITurbo, its currently not running, electrical issues. However the rest of it is in amazing condition.
I'm parting out my 5th car today.
Just sent you a PM
If you end up parting it out, i'd be interested in the engine (but with no intake/exhaust manifolds or turbo)+transmission pairing for the right price.
Are you serious?!?! Don't part it out!!! That Shadow is way to nice to just part out, how about dropping the price? I can't buy it because I would have to sell my van (I have been considering it seriously!) and I need my parts runner plus I just don't have any more room. I am so ashamed. It's such a cool car...
Thats the problem, lots of considering, no action. Car has been up on the block for awhile. Nobody has even made an offer. Two inquiries about it but they never went anywhere. It needs to go, one way or another. If nobody steps up at least ot can make many other projects continue on
