Forgive me for asking, but for some reason I "think" I read that the front clip from a Spirit will bolt on a Shadow. I know it is probably not true, but I have to ask, will it bolt on? Fire away!

Yes, it will. I have a pic of a car like that at home. It's...unusual at best. The length of the fenders & hood looks out of place.

I take it that it bolts on but does not really match the contour of the doors?
I keep wanting to see a shadow front end on a spirit but still havent. I think that MAY actually be a justifiable move. The spirit front end on a shadow just looks HIDEOUS.
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
I am not a fan of the Shadow front end. Do the body lines match or no? I have a 91RT that the roof is a little rough on, but the drivetrain and interior is in good shape. I have my eyes on a zero rust 92 Shadow. I would like to see a photo of what one looks like. I want a lighter car than the spirit, and there are very few Omni's and Chargers that are not rust buckets left on this area.
Here's the single pic I have of this combo.

Saw one local several years ago.
Looked odd but not quite as bad as you think.
I wonder too how a slant nose spirit would look. Probably like that zebra-donkey they made...

I actually kind of like it. It would make you look twice, that's for sure!
I only like the 87-88.I am not a fan of the Shadow front end.
I made a little POS picture in ms paint of a csx front end on a spirit. Seemed pretty ok.

That looks like jay leno. So much front overhang.
I have been wanting to do that to my shadow for years, and tube the front end in front of the struts
Hideous, hideous, hideous!!
Dont push the red button. You hear me?
I think it looks good, I always thought a rampage would look good with an omni front end
Well, to each his own! I like your style with minivans but not with the cars apparently! haha

It doesn't look half bad IMHO but everyone has different tastes.
If you like it that's all that matters.
I get flack from people for owning a 80's "shitbox" but my GLH Turbo makes me smile and giggle.
When it's whistling away on boost, I'm grinning like an idiot!
I've always wondered what an Omni with a Shelby Charger front end would look like . . .
Anyone have pics of such a beast?
On "the other" Mopar turbo forum, there was a discussion as to what was the definition of rice. After all was hashed out, by definition, I mentioned a couple of classic Mopars that fit the bill, Daytona and SuperBird, and the reaction was not positive, even though it fit the definition to a T. Everyone has different tastes, that's why there are so many models of cars.
Well i am not a fan of Daytonas either.
I sure wouldnt kick a superbird out of my driveway if one showed up, though! It's about time i started investing in appreciating assets.

I'm curious what the definition was. I always saw it as appearance modifications that intend to make the car look fast, but do not actually contribute to its speed and performance. The aerodynamic nose and wing on the street cars were installed to meet the homologation requirements for the NASCAR cars, and their mods absolutely contributed to their speed and performance- to the point where NASCAR changed the rules in 1971 to say if a team wanted to run that body style, they were limited to 305 cubic inches.
Thats pretty much how you get from Reliant to Daytona.I always saw it as appearance modifications that intend to make the car look fast, but do not actually contribute to its speed and performance.
