    Sealed Power Oil Rings

Two cylinders on my new engine wouldn't stop using oil, so I took it down and re-ringed it again. I found that the reason those two wouldn't dry up was that the oil expansion rings had broken tabs. This is the second set of Sealed Power Oil Rings that have done this. This time I am using ITH Rings. FWIW.

    Re: Sealed Power Oil Rings

I have decided that when I use Sealed Power rings again, I will use another brand oil ring.

Even better? just use Perfect Circle rings. They are now called Mahle Original since they are made by Mahle. mine seated up perfectly right off the bat and all I did was run over the cylinders with a ball hone
