it says there was an error in the listing that's why it was removed, not sure what that means though.

If it had a title it would definitely be a good project. With it not having a vin that makes things much more complicated. Maybe depending on your state you could get a kit car title after inspection?

Kit cars are titled all the time. Once completed, there is no reason it could not be inspected and get the right papers needed and approval.

I hope something like this will come up in a few years when I have some cash. I'd sell alot for one of those.

    Re: Consulier GTP on ebay

Then the question is since the car would be titled as a kit car and not a consulier would it be less valuable?

Wasn't me. Checked it 10 min before auction end and it was still at 4500. Must have been some frantic bidding at the end

The owner sent me some additional photos of the car that showed it was more complete than the ad implied. Door panels, dash, gages, fuel tank, engine were all there. No vin plate behind the engine though. You have to wonder how t got so may mile on it,

Ha. You will learn these cars mostly ALL have bad odometers. My car in particular reads 160 mph when im sitting still. That is how these cars all have high milage.

Yes, sometimes mine says 120 when I do 60, then after it warms up it settles to the correct speed.
