Why not buy a set? Is there a difference between the early and late input shaft shims?

I couldn't find any for my a568 so I went to amazon.com and bought some shim stock and made my own. (precision brand #16955 works very well.)

Looked through my stuff once more and found a combination that worked very well to get the desired pre-load. Thanks to all.
