    Manual Boost controllers

I know everyone here seems to love the whole grainger valve thing, but for the cost of the parts I can buy one off Ebay and don't have to track down parts and assemble, drill holes.....

So with that being said, which one do you think would be better?

    Fairly cheap, looks simple.

Pretty much same design/function but has a ceramic ball

    nxsmotorsports (8455 ) nxsmotorsports 99.8% Positive feedback vs fastmodz (2098 ) 99.5% Positive feedback

    Which one would you choose?

Not that big of a difference and if you look at the NXSmotorsports auctions, not everything is automotive related. feedback rating doesn't mean the item works or is reliable.

NXS oh hell no! A friend and forum member had one like that, ball got wedged bewteen spring and stopped functioning. The voodo one looks nice but I'd be wanting to see the inside 1st. The thing with the Grainger is that it's made for this application. Not a bunch of parts thrown together. For the price of the NXS I'll make you a grainger valve and ship it to you.

Really most of us have been in this game a long time, we know what works and what doesn't and have seen a lot of newbies come in saying they want this or that because it's cheap or easy or both only to get the part and it sucks.

I've seen how the grainger is made and it's really not much different than most of these manual boost controllers available. If you'd be willing to make one for me I'll send you the money for it.

Sure I'll pick one up monday and get it made next week since Grainger is closed already.
