    SCCA E-Production Race Car

    Date: 16th July 2014
    Username: minigts
    Full Name: Jon Trotter
City, State, Zip: Mason, TN 38049
Contact: PM me for email/phone number if you don't have either
Selling or Wanted Price: $3000 FIRM, plus any fees with delivery

    SOLD
    Description:

For sale, 1984 e-Production SCCA competition car. Asking $3,000 (now with the included K frame) which is WAY less than what I have invested in it. More pics can/will be posted. If you want to see anything specific, please let me know. The highlights:

    • Mikuni carbs 44mm per side
    • 15x7 Diamond wheels, +11mm (6)
    • 15x8 Goodyear R600 Tires (4)
    • 15x9 Goodyear R600 Tires (4)
    • SCCA compliant roll cage
    • Aluminum racing seat (1)
    • Relocated battery (behind passenger side seat area)
    • Fuel cell (10 gallons I believe)
    • Fire suppression system
    • Coil over suspension (IMSA, 1 of 10 sets made)
    • Strut tower brace
    • Camber plates (will confirm caster as well)
    • Brake ducting (front)
    • Service manuals (required for SCCA competition)
    • Wrapped header to collector
    • Remote oil filter
    • Oil cooler

    Additional parts:
    • Spare 525 transmission
    • Spare timing distributor intermediate shaft
    • Spare drive shafts (1 equal, 1 unequal)
    • Spare original carb and intake (Eddlebrock, I think)
    • New in package control arm bushings (energy suspension)
    • Clutch cable (at least one, I think I have 2)
    • Spare fuel pump
    • Spare fuel filter
    • Spare CV boot (Mopar)
    • Spare roller cam
    • Spare set of (8) lifters, new in box
    • Spare set of brake pads (front)
    • Spare set of rear spindles (drum, but I think they are all the same)
    • Tons of shims (for rear camber alignment)
    • Mopar performance T-stat, new in bag
    • Spare cap/rotor/distributor assembly
    • Spare water pump assembly
    • Spare set of tail lights
    • Spare hood (damaged, but the original one that came with it)
    • Spare throttle cable

Even MORE additional parts - All parts powdercoated in 2010, holding up nicely

    • dual pivot K frame fit for an L body - welded mount for the 525 and 555 transmissions
    • control arms
    • ball joints
    • bushings (Polybushings.com)
    • 1 1/4" sway bar made for an L body (LRE, I'm 99.99% sure)

There are more parts than this in the boxes, but these are the hightlighted items that are useful.

Things missing to allow logging race time to get SCCA license:
    • Transponder
    • Multi-point harness
    • Fuel sampler (this may not be required anymore, but what I was told when I purchased it)

Selling because I have a GLHS that I'm basically doing this to (autocross) and really don't have use for it. Car sounds incredible. 11:1 compression motor, N/A (i.e., no turbo), supposedly has a limited slip installed, but I'd have to confirm which type. Regardless, the car is set up for track. Flared fender add ons and handles like crazy. Yes I have run it and it was awesome down the street! More pics coming of the goodies and will update the list of parts that come with it as I realize all that is there. Price is fairly negotiable, but I'm losing money as it is, so within reason I'm willing to negotiate. Located in the Memphis, TN area and can help ship to wherever.

Thanks Mike! Yes, there are many things on this car that are unique and make this car a one of a kind. Going to confirm, but it has a very nice header on it, wrapped to the collector. Someone posted a header on Facebook and this one is the same, will check the size of the runners at the head to confirm the size.

I may if I don't get any responses from here. Kinda like dealing with people in the community. I know one person who wants the engine, but he won't get it without the WHOLE thing.

Still looking to sell the car. I'll update the first post, but I will throw in a dual pivot K frame fit for an L body. This will include the K-frame, control arms, bushings, mount for the 525 already welded in place, but will also support a 555 trans bobble strut as well AND, AND.... a 1 1/4" sway bar made for the L bodies. I cannot confirm it right now, but this is one of the ones that LRE made back in the day. Whether they took a Daytona one and cut it down, I don't know. I do know that it looks like one that was made JUST for the car though. The shape and design looks identical to the stock bar, but it is larger. I've had this for probably 20 years now.

All parts were powder coated and were on the GLHS from 2010 to just recently. No rust or wear anywhere on this joker. With that, the price will be firm at $3,000, which is a steal, if I do say so myself. I can get pics of this if anyone is interest.

I will up the ante at a later point to include a 525 with a Shelby diff and girdle if this doesn't sell, but the price will go up with it.

This will make a great stocking stuffer. Get it in time for Christmas!!!

Kind of interested in the front suspension parts for my GLH. But, I'm afraid to ask a price. And, as they say, if you have to ask; it's too much...

The cost of the suspension includes the car AND NA motor, $3000 or OBO.
