Anyone remember which ford fuel pump was a good alternative to a Walbro?
It was used in their Thunderbird Super Coupe as I recall, but I can't remember which year.

Dang, must not be any ole timers on here anymore that remember this, or they're like me and can't remember. Either way the stone cold silence seems unusual.

Bad memories for me. I forget the specs but the flow was rated a bit higher than the Chrysler unit, so I put a Walbro T bird pump in my mini as the factory pump was slowly dying, like a good pump should. The T bird Walbro stopped suddenly, without any warning after about 9 months. Returned it for warranty and the same thing happened soon afterwards, but no warranty the second time as it was a few days past 12 months. I cut the pump open, it looked perfect inside, just seized up, not from dirt or debris. Tank was clean and fresh sock each time so I put a used one in and it's still working. Probably not due to being a T bird pump, just a couple if duds, but that's all I got.
Thanks
Randy
There is no logical reason to call an Engine a motor.

Thanks for the replies. I've actually got one from Autozone in my SC, put it in there years ago when I T2ed it, but I didn't record the pn with the rest of the conversion info. I wonder if Autozone keeps records that far back? Hm, haps I should give them a call.
