Description: NOT RUNNING, needs a fuel-pump.
2.5 T1 with Garrett turbo has a lotta hard miles on it and rattles in the bottom-end when ya first start it.
The head has been massaged a little, has back-cut valves, ported exhaust manifold with EGT port at #4. (may be willing to part with analog EGT kit)
Garrett turbo has factory '89 2 1/2" swingvalve connected to a pieced together 3" exhaust with no cat and a bullet muffler.
Balance shafts removed and crankscraper installed.
Also has a HP clutch installed.
This is the engine I had in my Lebaron, and I also have available all the addition items I used with that set-up. Such as the Supra innercooler, +40's, TU fuel rail, and SMEC that were used with it (but no AFPR).
The SMEC was built and dyno-tuned by..., Paul(?), around the time he was with Turbos Unleashed some yrs back.
I think the car could have ran a 13 second quarter with someone behind the wheel that knew how to race it.
Van needs paint and body work. Has rust issues which you can see in the pix. What you can't see is that under the rocker-panel on the driver's side is a large hole that's at least a foot long. But other than that the underneath looks rather good.
Has a couple dents, one of which is near the rear top corner of the rear hatch. And none of the stuff on the hatch (wiper, washer, defroster) works, only the hatch release.
A/C worked last I drove it.
Has aftermarket CD player (an older Kenwood unit) I put a set of 6x9s in the hatch (no cutting) but while I ran some wires I never installed the amplifier (I've got a couple if you need one).
I put a new headliner in it when I bought it. Overall the interior isn't bad, the worse is the dash.
May need front struts.
Has a trailer hitch.
The wheels you see in the pix don't go with it.
I have the original wheels and tires, which are rough, and I may still have the three hubcaps that were on it when I got it.
However I also have a nearly new set of Falken ZE912s on Shelby Charger wheels.
I'm sure I've forgotten some detail, if I remember something I'll add it.
I know it's hard to buy a vehicle that isn't running so depending on how this attempt goes I may replace the pump myself before selling.
Thing is I have lost the desire to build the van up, perhaps if I could repair the rust and paint it myself it'd be a different story. But as it stands if I keep it it'll just be my beater. I'd rather see someone get it and fix it up right.
