    boost problem question

My car today was boosting real slow and wouldnt get to 11psi till red line. Real lazy like and not hitting hard. Last night was pulling hard to 15psi and fun. What would cause this to happen.

Please share the details of your car. Are you running stock boost control solenoid or a boost controller, and are you running a stock blow off valve or an aftermarket?

That sounds like a boost leak, either from a loose clamp or a leaky blow off valve. Its also possible that if you are running the factory boost control solenoid, something could be up with that.

Sorry for lack of info i have the adjustable wastegate from fwd xspower blow off valve and a xs boost controller. It is building boost so slow its depressing. Funny a month ago it would spool to 20 then creep to 24 and know i cant even get to 15 lol. I dont understand

Clogged cat? When I bought my car it had a hard time hitting 5psi of boost until I shimmed the wastegate actuator then it would hit 7psi but not until you got over 5000RPM. beat myself up trying to figured it out with this being my first turbo car. Finally someone suggested unbolting the downpipe off the swingvalve. Sure enough as soon as the downpipe was loose, first hit of the gas I was in overboost by 3500RPM. Removed the cat and had to reset PCM. Now it hits 10psi on stock ECM by 3500RPM all day every day.

Another possibility could be that the timing belt jumped a tooth or two.
