Dang it! I was just over there this week. I wish I could have snuck into that.
Nice find, thank you for sharing CoolV! I didn't know the WPC Museum had an '86 S. Anybody know what # it is?

Beautiful cars!! Please clarify something for me though: I thought the museum had closed. Is it only open for special occasions like this? Thanks!
While the cars were from the museum, this event according to the article, was held at the Dodge mansion (in the Grosse Pointe's).
Every year for the last 15-20 years or so, there is an annual car show held in early June at the museum. It is a nice show open to all makes, and there is quite a variety of cars there. I understand this year they had 300+ cars there and the museum was open for that event.
I used to know the number of the car but I don't recall it now. If my memory serves me, it is the one owned by longtime Shelby friend and coworker from the Shelby Chrysler Performance Center days, John Fernandez.Originally Posted by glhs0075

From reading that article, that GLHS could benefit from a linkage upgrade.
I was thinking the same thing about the shift linkage It doesn't have a dash plaque either, just the factory Omni one.
Thanks for reminding me of another reason to smash my head against the wall... I had a red '64 Dodge convertible 50th anniversary edition. No rust, dents, and good original paint. I sold it for 500. I had a chance to get it back for towing charges because the dealer that bought it never titled it. Somebody must have stolen it from him. I bought it for $50 from a junkyard?
