Description: 1989 Dodge Caravan

I know I'm going to regret this but here it goes..

It is an original five speed, turbo minivan. I bought it completely stock a year or two ago and had plans to build it up. So far I have put on a full 3 in exhaust, Garrett T2 turbo with TU 3 inch swingvalve and a two piece intake manifold. Also has boost and air-fuel gauges. The car is super clean with zero rust underneath. Interior is almost mint too. The turbo has started to smoke a little. Can't really tell at idle but noticeable when I rev the engine. I couldn't tell myself, someone else had to point it out to me. Other than that it runs mint.

Selling because I've been losing interest lately and have way too many projects and not enough room. Maybe someone else can actually get it finished.





Grill is cracked, pulled a replacement from the junk yard just have not put it on yet.

Just inspected yesterday!

However.... On my way home from the shop the tranny locked up on me and won't shift. I don't know whats wrong with it and I wont have time to get to it for probably a week or two.

Check the cable ends.. sometimes the bushings deteriorate and allow the ends of the cable to slip off where they are supposed to go. Was there a lot of play in the shifter before it locked up? That is what mine did. Pop the shiter boot off under the squre "frame" to get a look. Mine was super rusty in this area even though its not a rusty car. I guess soda?

Thanks for the advice anyway. My mechanic said it sounded funny before hand, I guess he was right....

I have a 520 I will include that is attached to a complete 89 T1 motor out of a Daytona that only has 16k miles! I picked it up as a spare from a guy that crashed his car in '91 and kept the motor.

Gonna take it off the road soon and it will probably sit for quite a while... No room or time to get it fixed in the near future.
