Need to take doors off of parts car.
If it's a parts car I wold sawzall them off the frame at the front half of the hinge. I have had great trouble beating the pins out otherwise. If you do decide to beat the pins then a good idea is to use a very long punch.
Thank you much. My idea was to saw them then worry about the pins after removal. Thanks again
Sorta off topic, how would someone remove the pins on a 92 Daytona, looks difficult.
Removing the factory pins for the first time it will be a fight.
Find a long 3/8" extension that you don't ever plan on using as a socket extension (harbor freight) and use the ratchet handle end to slip over the end of the pin and pound the other end with a small sledge hammer. once the pin is broken loose from the knurling underneath the head it should come out without much effort. On the replacement pins I like to drill a hole into the top of the new pin so I can use a punch and its not going to walk off and do some damage.
Well i cut my top hinges with hacksaw 30 minutes and the bottom busted loose. Now i have rust free doors. Thanks all for the advise.
