    clutch recommendations

So im running around 300hp out of t2 89 shelby daytona. With new turbo combo hoping to be around 350 or more hopefully but my old centerforce is slipping. I drive the car alot so drivability is a must. Just want some opinions

A local friend and I have built up a Spirit R/T with many mods and it is using a clutch from TurbosUnleashed. It is a 'yellow' plate and uses a four puck ceramic disc. Seems to work great for the car; no complaints at all. I'm pretty sure it is in the neighborhood of 350 HP (50-trim hybrid, 20 psi boost @ WOT, big intercooler, 3" exhaust, 3-bar/52 lb/hr cal etc..)

For stock builds I prefer the Luk replacements for the Turbo II application. Never had a problem with those holding a bit over 200 HP and 270+ ft/lbs torque.

Go for 4 punk and yellow plate. You want the clutch to hold. 390lb ft vs 336lb ft (your target of 350hp will definitely defeats it)

I don't see why you wouldn't go with the TU purple plate. More holding power than the yellow and very streetable with a 6-puck...

The purple plate and 6 puck is what I have with my 2.4 swap in my shadow. Very streetable clutch.
