My 1995 Chrysler LHS 3.5 liter engine is exhibiting a bucking/surging in a couple of speed ranges under normal driving conditions when there is no or almost no pressure is applied to the accel. pedal. Usually worst at about 1500 RPMs maybe 25 mph. (Also RPMs and speedometer will bounce or jitter when problem occurs.) Applying a little more gas to accelerate stablizes the engine and eliminates the problem. Idle with vehicle stationary is stabile and normal. No obvious related code failures. Car recently had intake manifold gasket replaced for a coolant leak problem and also had timing belt changed.

Has anyone else seen this problem and know the probable cause? If its not engine related - maybe the trans. is going bad? Thanks for any ideas.
