Cindy - I'm in, put me down for a set.
    John Laing

"The sole condition which is required in order to succeed in centralizing the supreme power in a democratic community, is to love equality, or to get men to believe you love it. Thus the science of despotism, which was once so complex is simplified, and reduced . . . . to a single principle."
    -- Alexis de Tocqueville

"One of the methods used by statists to destroy capitalism consists in establishing controls that tie a given industry hand and foot, making it unable to solve its problems, then declaring that freedom has failed and stronger controls are necessary."
    --Ayn Rand

"To evolve, you don't need a Constitution. All you need is a legislature and a ballot box . . . . things will evolve as much as you want. All of these changes can come about democratically; you don't need a Constitution to do that and it's not the function of a Constitution to do that."
    -- Justice Antonin Scalia

I have the Eibach 2804 springs on my Shelby Lancer. I'm using KYB shocks/struts.

As far as the struts (front), the GR2 just doesn't seem to handle the higher spring rate very well. It's OK though. Bounces a bit over speed bumps. Gotta go real slow so it doesn't rebound too harsh.

As far as the shocks (rear), the Gas-A-Just.....love 'em!

If only we could get KYB to make the AGX struts for our cars that bolted on just like stock.

I'm a fan of the koni's with the eibachs. Currently have the rears in stock, and the fronts will use a a drop in insert, using the stock housing.
OK, we are 2/3rds there only need 5 more commitments!!!

Cindy, do you or anybody else have more information on using the drop-in insert and how it's done? I may be interested in a set of these for my white Spirit R/T.

Yes, somewhere on my computer I have the PN's and such. Basically a cut and gut like the neon srt-4 inserts. You cut the top of your existing strut, pull out all the guts, drop in the inserts, bolt the bottoms then reassemble with the springs and mounts. I'll be posting a how-to etc.... once I get through the GB's

Bump to the top, only need 4 more people to get this done! Surprised since every time someone has a used set, they are gone immediately and for more money than a new set in this group buy!

I was told years ago, so not 100% sure, but I think they are in the 320 range up front and 250 rear, but Eibach explained to me that since they are PROGRESSIVE springs, the rate changes as forces as applied and you can't compare spring rates like you can their sportlines or linear springs.

Is the price the same if we express our interest now as compared to when you order the additional 15 sets? Are you able to give me any idea on shipping cost to Riverview, NB, CANADA, E1B5G9 ?

Once we get 15 commitments, we will place them up on our site for the $225 plus shipping, and give people 7-10 days to pay. After that time, any orders for the eibachs will be at regular price which will be somewhere around $275 a set. According to USPS website, shipping to Canada would be $120. That sounds high so I may have to look into that. If possible have the springs shipped to a US border town and come across to get them to save money

Re: Group Buy EIBACH Lowering Springs

I'm going to need a set of these for my Spirit R/T, so go ahead and put me in the #14 spot.

Although I will say that I would prefer a non-progressive spring rate. With the 2804 Eibach springs set that is currently installed on my Shelby Lancer, all the "progressive" rate coils are completely bound anyway (with the car at rest). The rears have six coils stacked against each other and the fronts have four coils stacked while parked. I really don't see the point of progressive coils at all. I would very much prefer a linear spring or Sportlines. I am also hoping that more info comes available about doing the cut-a-strut in order to make a Koni strut work with these. KYB struts are no bueno with these.
