After fist drive and sitting on flat level ground. From ground to top of wheel well opening 26" both sides on front and passenger rear. Drivers rear at 25.5". Here is a pic of rear while sitting on alignment rack.
measure it with the track bar uninstalled...
Not that this will affect things a ton, but it sure looks like the Panhard bar in that car is slightly tweaked.
looks like the car is too low and the panhard bar is pointing up on the passenger side, this is not how you set the rear for optimal handling. I'd say the rear needs to go up 1/2" to an inch. Maybe if that was just on the drivers side it'd be ok.
Not like this car is going to be a corner carver by any means. Got to get it running right before I worry about "fixing" anything on the suspension.
when someone gets these installed on a Daytona, I'd like to know the results are for the actual drop.
Any news on when these may ship?
All the springs from this group buy should have shipped out.

Has anybody that installed these new updated Eibachs noticed if they work OK with the KYB GR2 struts? My 'old' Eibachs that are installed on the Shelby Lancer never worked very well with the Eibach springs. Too much spring rate for those struts to handle. On the other hand the KYB Gas-A-Just rear shocks work great with them!
I will be swapping out the GR-2 for Sachs..these GR-2 are terrible.
I have GR2s on my car. Seem to work fine, but then again I have nothing to really compare to other than the worn out stock shocks and stock springs that were on the car.
For anyone ordering sachs struts beware the part numbering. I suggest you call sachs to verify the part number prior to order. The catalog number for my lancer was indeed the wrong strut and I had to remove them from the car. This will end up as triple labor for me to do struts. I am less than excited by this.
This is the height with eibachs with sachs struts on 16x7 225/50/16 msw-25's
