Phoenix, AZ meet May 3rd Cars and Coffee Gainey Ranch

We attended the Cars and Coffee event at the Penske Museum last Saturday morning. While it was a great gathering with plenty to see everyone told us the "Big" event each month happens at Gainey Ranch. It's a great mix of enthusiasts from Exotics to Rat Rods with over 300 cars and plenty more spectators. I have already spoken with a few of the local members and they will be there. It starts around 7:00 AM but we will be arriving earlier because we hear spots can be hard to find if you get there at that time.

The Shops at Gainey Ranch
8877 N. Scottsdale Rd - Scottsdale
Cross streets Doubletree Ranch Rd and Scottsdale Rd
Get off the 101 at Via De Ventura and head East until you reach Scottsdale Rd
Via De Ventura changes to Doubletree Ranch Rd along the way.

We got there around 6:15 and the spots were filling up fast. Vic (DOHCRT) drove his ragtop Dart and AZ Shadow rolled up in his yellow Horizon about 1/2 an hour later.


Rich Garcia stopped by as well driving his 2012 GTR while his wife followed in their 944S. All together there were about 10 Turbo-Mopar guys/gals. There was sweet looking Renault Turbo2 but still looking for the picture. Even spotted a super clean Silver E30 M3 and sent a picture to 168glhs1986.
